The Red Sea, sandwiched between the north-eastern Africa and the Arabian Peninsula, is famous for its beautiful grounds, the magnificent colors of the coral reefs and the rich flora and fauna that inhabit its waters: a real underwater paradise. " The geographical isolation of the water has created over the centuries a unique marine ecosystem that never ceases to amaze the diver, giving new emotions for every dive you experience.

A dip in the blue will lead to the discovery of the sub more than 170 different species of coral and the meeting with the municipalities and colorful reef fish, with the unexpected large predator of the seas, the hammerhead shark, and even with the harmless whale shark


Some of the best Red Sea scuba diving destinations are found in Sharm El Sheikh, Hurghada and Marsa Alam which are also the main tourist resorts of the Red Sea, offering numerous dive sites and are for many the first meeting with Egypt and its beautiful sea.


Sharm El Sheik

Start off your Red sea scuba diving vacation in Sharm El Sheik. With well over forty dive sites, you are sure that sharm el sheik will meet and exceed your underwater adventures. If you are a beginner, get your divers license with one of the many dive centers present in the area.

Experience jaw dropping sceneries and observe growing coral pinnacles around which live butterfly fish, lion, wrasse, barracuda and turtles around the sites of Ras Katy, Temple, Ras Umm Sid.

The park of Ras Mohammed is a must on your dive itenery where with stunning scenes full of marine life, with fire corals and soft corals set against one another and a vast array of fish you may well have the adventure of your life

Be sure to visit the different dive wrecks in the area. In the depths of the Red Sea lie quietly, waiting for the visit of the sub, the numerous wrecks which Ulysses, an English merchant sunk at the end of 1800, or the famous Thistlegorm discovered in 1956 by Jacques Cousteau. Hurghada

Discover Hurghada which is world famous for the beauty of its seabed and coral reefs. Unlike other coastal resorts, the city of Hurghada maintains the characteristic features of the original fishing village, yet this area is one of the greatest seaside resorts in the Red Sea.

Experience colorful coral gardens, steep walls colonized by corals and sponges, caves submarine canyons, and all the typical fauna which maybe found within the Red sea. Do take your time to visit the Giftun Island National Park. Here you are sure to experience some spectacular diving in the protected waters where you will encounter barracuda and the famous whale sharks.

Marsa Alam

If you want a quieter atmosphere for your Red Sea scuba diving vacation or a place to escape then I recommend you do visit Marsa Alam. With its beautiful coral reefs, a variety of seascapes as steep cliffs, caves, natural lagoons and the opportunity to observe a variety of underwater tropical fish you are in for a treat in Marsa Alam.

Hamata & Bernice

Another popular red sea scuba diving destination is Hamata and Bernice. A scuba vacation in this remote region of the Red Sea, contains everything for which the Red Sea is famous. A window into Africa, the area of Hamata/Bernice is a remote, secluded, paradise, which is ideal for vacationers who love to be in contact with nature.  

The marine area of Hamata / Berenice is protected, as many other areas in Egypt, and its sub centers have adopted procedures for low environmental impact so much so that local authorities, NGO's and international bodies such as USAID collaborate together in the conservation of marine life in the region. Dahab

In the southern part of the Sinai Peninsula is the small town of Dahab which is well known amongst divers for its beautiful dive sights.

Most of Dahab’s fame is owed to its beautiful coral reefs, which follow the coast. The great thing about Dahab is that most dives are accessible from land.
